Candle Care Tips
The first time you light your candle you should let it
burn for 2-3 hours. Extinguish the candle when the
melted wax pools out to approximately 1/4 inch from the
outside edge. You have now set the burning point for
your candle and the outside should glow as it burns
down the center.
If your candles outside edge begins to warp a little
just gently press it back into shape immediately after
extinguishing it.
The wick should be cut if your candle begins to flicker
or exceeds 3/4 inch long. Nail clippers make trimming
an unlit candle a snap.
Try to keep your candle out of drafty areas, this will
ensure a uniform burn.
Stop burning your candle when the bottom gets to be 3/4
inch thick. This will help to ensure you don’t burn the
plate it is sitting on and to prevent spilling hot
wax.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
